Homage to Milorad Miskovitch by the Historical Archives of Belgrade, the Secretariat for Culture of the City of Belgrade and the Assembly of the City of Belgrade involved an exhibition of large-format photographs and original costumes and A Leap into Infinity, a film by Ivan Jovanović, a young director and dramaturgist from Belgrade. Admirers, friends and fellow dancers as well as members of the Irish Georgian Society headed by their founder Desmond Guinness attended the event.

The principals of the National Theatre Ana Pavlović and Jovan Veselinović performed the adagio from the 2nd act of Swan Lake. Gorica Mojović, Secretary for Culture of the City of Belgrade presented to Miskovitch the Plaque of the City of Belgrade and the theatrologist Jovan Ćirilov  spoke about the artist’s life and career.

Exhibition of large-format photographs

Sava Centre,

The Historical Archives of Belgrade organised an exhibition of large-format photographs entitled The Art and the Spirit of Dance illustrating the dancing career of Milorad Miskovitch. The exhibition took place during the Third Belgrade Dance Festival.
